Tier 3 and Tier 4 data centers are selected in different geographical areas. One data center is located far away from another in a completely different region. This makes us serve you even if any data center is down because of any reason such as a natural disaster. Also, these data centers can withstand any extreme weather condition or extreme power outage.
Name any redundancy that you have heard of and we have that in data centers. Each data center delivers multiple paths to every information request. If any disk containing the requisite data fails, its another copy stored at the same or other location will serve the purpose. In fact, the entire data of one center is replicated to another regularly. Multiple Internet connections from the leading Internet Service Providers make network facilities redundant.
We always have numerous hot-swappable hardware components (like cables, fans, disk drives, and others), and 24×7 available on-site staff to replace faulty components in time and to remain hardware redundant.
In SSAE-16 certified Tier 3 and Tier 4 data centers, we focus on physical security, server security, and data security. Data center facilities are being guarded with 24×7 CCTV surveillance, on-site security staff, and controlled access. Servers are being protected with antivirus, both software- and hardware-based Firewalls, and real-time Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems. A twin-layer security strategy has been deployed for data security. At first layer, our clients can decide who can access their data and how.
We also provide dedicated and password-protected VPN-based programs for data access, without which no access can be made. On-demand IP-based restrictions can also be applied to ban/allow the data access from specific IP Addresses. On another layer, a Proper System Authorization at the backend has been made to let only authorized personnel deal with the hosted data (that too when it is really needed).
